Even though I grew up in Waco, I still find it to be a very charming place. I always loved being downtown/at Indian Springs Park (which is where this photo was taken). Anywho, just wanted to share one of my favorite places with you. 

And we were all yellow....

I. Love. Trees. There is something magical about a tree. It's a sign of life and growth. And they are just beautiful. My favorite tree is the weeping willow...This is not a weeping willow but beautiful nonetheless. 

First Frost...

I can't wait for some cold weather! So this is in anticipation of what's to come. Wouldn't it be nice if we could look at all things in life this way...with anticipation of what's to come. I don't know about you but I spend way too much time worrying about what's to come. So my challenge for today: Stop worrying and choose to anticipate good things. Choose Hope. 

From Paris with love...

If you know me well, you know that I have always been a romantic...though I don't care for the term "hopeless romantic" so I say that I am a Hopeful romantic :-) Anyways, along with that comes my l.o.v.e. for all things Paris and/or Eiffel Tower. Before my husband and I were married and before we shared a vehicle, I had an Eiffel Tower necklace on my rear view mirror (he would never allow one in our car now, HAHA). So today's photo is in honor of my love for Paris, the Eiffel Tower and all things romantic. Ooh La La!

On a side note...I used to feel like my love for whimsy and romance was silly but I have realized that is something that God created in me. God Himself is a romantic in my opinion. Just look at Song of Solomon in the Bible...that book is meant to be a picture of how much He loves us and how He woos us. So surely He put the love of beauty and romance in me. It's what we do with those feelings that matters. Am I taking that part of my personality and honoring Him and enjoying the beautiful, whimsical things He created? Just a thought...

Beauty...

Ok, so when I see things in nature as beautiful as this rose, it reminds me how creative and beautiful God is. I love that. Then I think about how God does not make mistakes...He is purposeful in everything He has created....Even with humans. He created each and every one of us....with purpose. He made no mistake on any one person. And not to mention, He made us in HIS image. So when insecurity starts to creep in, remember, You are made in His image and without mistake...how can you feel insecure about that! I don't dare call something that He created ugly or a mistake. Embrace who you are in God and be blessed today!

Reflection...

Well, I have been missing in action lately... My apologies to my one follower :-) Between job searching and my sweet babe getting sick for the first time, it has been hard to get back into the swing of things. But hopefully I will be able to continue posting photos of the day. Thank you to all who check out what I have to offer. Enjoy!
